Willkommen bei FYTA
Plants give us fresh air, food, and a sense of calm. They take such good care of us, yet we often struggle to take proper care of them. Why? Every plant species is different, and just like us, every plant is unique, with its own specific needs.
That’s where FYTA comes in. We create smart, data-driven products to better understand plants and give them the care they deserve.

Job OpeningsBetter than a green thumb
The Green Thumb is a Myth! It’s not something you’re born with, and even with knowledge and experience, there are things about plants you simply can’t see, feel, or sense. That’s why plant professionals often rely on measuring devices. So why not use the same technology at home?
Of course, data alone isn’t enough. With FYTA, you don’t just get accurate measurements—you also get clear insights into what those numbers mean. This way, you can care for your plants the right way and help them thrive—no matter what color your thumb is!
Meet Our Team
FYTA began its journey in Berlin around mid-2018. Our founders were on the hunt for solutions to help their struggling plants but couldn’t find anything that truly worked. So, they decided to create their own products—with a whole lot of passion and a strong foundation in science.
Today, we’re a wonderful, diverse team of nine developers, creatives, and plant and data scientists, all working together to make plant care smarter and more accessible.

Data for a Greener Future
To truly understand plants, we need precise data. This allows us to better identify how climate and environmental factors impact plant health.
Our goal is to build the world’s largest plant database by collecting millions of data points from homes, gardens, and urban green spaces. Over 60,000 plants are already connected to our system. Each new sensor makes FYTA smarter and brings us closer to a greener, healthier future.
