What makes the FYTA Beam different from other plant sensors?
We use more accurate measurement technologies and AI-powered algorithms that lead to better analytics. While other sensors only give you an analysis based on real-time data, the Beam analyzes short and long-term data. We also consider data from other sources, such as the photo-based health check.
Can the Beam also measure outside?
Yes. The Beam measures in potted plants, outdoors and indoors.
Can the Beam also be used in lawns?
No. The Beam works only in container plants with potting mixes.
What is the FYTA Hub? And do I need it?
It depends on your needs. You can easily connect the FYTA Beams via Bluetooth. However, a large number Beams in a Bluetooth-only configuration affects the user experience. To access the data without a hub, you need to open the app near the Beams. The more Beams you have, and the less often you open the app, the longer the data download will take. With a Wi-Fi hub, data is being synchronised every hour.
