Starting with version 4.8.6 (624), plant names, garden names, and sensor names can now be up to 255 characters long. The previous 24-character limit on plant names was too restrictive, and this update comes directly from user feedback. Anyone who wanted to use longer or more descriptive names will notice the change right away.
