EC stands for electrical conductivity and is a direct measure of how many nutrients are currently available as salts in your soil. Until now, this value was only accessible in FYTA's live mode. Starting with this update, a full EC data visualization is available in the fertilizer section of the app for all second-generation devices.
EC values now also factor into fertilizer recommendation calculations, as one component of a more complex formula.
