Version 4.6.0 of the FYTA App introduces new features for lawn care, grow tent cultivation, and Beam G2 users, along with a fix for Android devices.
Lawn
Not all lawns are the same. The FYTA App now accounts for different lawn types and care requirements based on growth cycles. A dedicated onboarding flow guides you through the relevant parameters when setting up your lawn, so the care recommendations match your specific situation.
VPD Display with the FYTA Sphere
VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures how much moisture the air is still missing before it becomes saturated. In enclosed environments like grow tents, this value is critical: a VPD that is too high puts plants under stress, while one that is too low slows growth. If you have a FYTA Sphere active and your plants are in a grow tent, the app now displays the current VPD value directly in the data view.
Light Calibration for the FYTA Beam G2
Light calibration is now available for all users with a FYTA Beam G2. This lets you calibrate the sensor directly in the app to compensate for measurement inaccuracies caused by shading in the lower part of the pot.
Android Fix
A bug that was blocking Bluetooth synchronization of large data sets from the FYTA Beam G2 and FYTA Sphere on Android devices has been resolved.
