App Update 4.5.0 (592) introduces light calibration for the FYTA Beam G2 and fixes a number of bugs. The update has been available for Android and iOS since May 18, 2026.
Light Calibration for the FYTA Beam G2
You can now calibrate the light sensor of your FYTA Beam G2 directly in the app. Calibration adjusts the light measurement to the actual conditions at your sensor's location, resulting in more accurate readings.
Further Improvements and Bug Fixes
The "Last synced via" display now correctly shows which route (Hub or Bluetooth) was used for your sensor's most recent sync. A bug has been fixed that caused sensor detection to fail intermittently for Beam G2 sensors. Measurement caching has been improved to prevent false gaps from appearing in the history view. During Wi-Fi setup, known networks now appear in a dedicated section and no longer require re-entering the password. The FYTA Terra onboarding image now shows the correct battery polarity.
